Premiers pas

Just because they’ve reached the momentous first-steps milestone doesn’t mean babies will now spend all their time on their feet. First-walkers might still crawl now and then, cruise, or walk assisted.

But as they spend more time walking, they’ll take in more and more information through the soles of their feet. Their feet will connect with the ground and tell them all they need to know about the surface their walking on, so baby’s free to look up and stride confidently.
